THE UNLIKELY ENTREPRENEUR

THE BEGINNING
I began my lash journey in Spring 2021 at the tail end of my bachelor's degree. I was broke, and I was set to begin a Master's program in Counseling where I was told I would be unable to work --
With the stress of not being able to afford rent and food and having no one to really turn to financially, I put all my savings into a lash training and supplies, just hoping I wouldn't be homeless.
It didn't take long until I became obsessed with running my own business and 8 months later, I dropped out of school to pursue it full time (it was really scary!).
Fast forward to today, I have had the privilege to teach hundreds of students from all over the world, mentoring people to master wet and wispy sets and grow their business on social media.
Within just 2 years, I have managed to scale to multi-6 figures in revenue while having freedom to do what I love! It has not been a smooth road by any means, but never in a million years did I think a girl like me who wasn't even born here would ever experience the fulfillment I have now and the amount of impact I could make.
To this day, I am so thankful I took a chance on myself because it changed my entire life!

The name Unfold was birthed from my philosophy that any hardships we go through lead us to become stronger, better versions of ourselves. As an immigrant with no entrepreneurial background, I know full well how hard it is to have the odds stacked against you. So I want to make it easier...With you at the heart of this brand, I create my courses and products in hopes that you won't have to struggle as much as I did and for you to know you are not alone. I am not special in any way. I started with 0 experience like many of you so if I can do it, you can too -- and I am here to help!"
